The Caribbean Sailing Association is pleased to welcome Kingfisher Yacht Ropes on board as an official technical partner for the 2019 edition of the Caribbean Dinghy Championships (CDC) element of the inaugural Caribbean Sailing Week event taking place in Antigua from 17-20 October.
Speaking of the partnership, Kingfisher Managing Partner Nigel Saddington has this to say:
“Kingfisher are delighted to be working with the CSA, supporting the Caribbean Dinghy Championships. Our agreement with the CSA will look to reward sailors during the event who go that extra mile through a Special Achievement award for each of the classes participating. The voting for these awards will be carried out by all sailors competing in the event. We are looking forward to finding out what the sailors have done to win the awards, be it helping a fellow sailor in distress, displaying sportsmanlike qualities or even cleaning up a local beach.”
The Special Achievement AwardS provided by Kingfisher consist of a voucher for rope-based goods available through the https://www.yachtropes.co.uk/ website to the value of $200 USD per class-specific award recipient across the Optimist, Laser Radial, Laser and RS Feva sailboat classes. This value is based on the RRP price of goods selected and includes the cost of shipping of goods to the award recipients.
